Papa's Next Project — What's next?
Papa's Next Project is about what's next.
Businesses, useful services, safety, projects, stories, local history, books, finds, flips, and new experiments — all from one curious Papa in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
If you know nothing about me, here's the short version: I try things, I build things, and I share what I learn. Some things become businesses. Some become stories. Some just become a good lesson. This site is where they all live.
Start where you are
For local businesses
You do good work and you're too busy to post about it. Papa helps local businesses get found, follow up, and stay in touch — by text and email, no meetings required.
Need something done?
Junk to haul. A resume that needs rewriting. One safety question you need answered straight. Start here.
For readers and history lovers
Local history, a fantasy novel in progress, children's books, and documentary research. The variety is on purpose.
What is Papa's Next Project?
Papa's Next Project is me — Derrick Kinzer, Papa — building what's next. I work full-time at Ultium Cells in Spring Hill as an Industrial Hygiene Tech and ERGO Rep. After work, I build things: businesses, services, safety content, stories, history projects, and experiments.
I'm not a corporation. I'm a veteran, a plant-floor safety guy, a grandfather, a Tennessee fan, and a lifelong tinkerer from Lawrence County. I like finding value in overlooked things, helping neighbors and local businesses, and learning something new with every next project.
Some projects are for sale. Some are free to read. Some are still being built. This site keeps them in one place so you don't have to hunt for them.

Family Business We Support
Nana's Little Nest
Nana furnishes and maintains children's play spaces for waiting rooms — toys, books, tables, chairs, and regular cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking. Perfect for dental and medical offices, pediatric clinics, urgent care, laundromats, libraries, and churches.
Nana's Little Nest is an independent family business, not a division of Papa's Next Project. Papa's Next Project supports it and is proud to share it here.
Stories & Projects
Local history that actually happened here. A fantasy novel being written chapter by chapter. Children's books being reworked. Documentary research, animation experiments, and whatever Papa tries next.
The variety is intentional. "What's next?" is part of who we are.
